Description : The Hostal Rofer is located in the centre of Madrid, just a couple of metro stops to the Puerta del Sol, and close to a hip part of the city, the La Latina area. This authentic area is close to the Royal Palace, and a few metro stops from the city’s most important museums such as the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen Bornemisza Museums. This is the place you want to be for real, authentic “tapas” (small plates of food) and “cañas” (little beers to wash down your tapas). After a notorious night out at Madrid’s clubs, head down Sunday to the nearby Rastro flea market and then out to La Latina for a medicinal vermouth and refuel on great food. This quiet hostel will offer the visitor a great refuge and a perfect night of sleep. The double rooms are quaintly decorated and have a homey atmosphere.
